Belton Animal Clinic and Exotic Care Center has a long history of quality medicine and surgery. Established at its old location on Main Street in the late 1950s, it is currently owned by Dr. Teresa Bradley Bays. In October of 2005 we relocated 2 miles north into a new and expanded facility at 1308 N. Scott Ave, Belton, MO on a two acre tree-lined property. 

Our staff is a GREAT team, with the right mix of skills and backgrounds, and has been carefully chosen to provide the best care for your pet.  All staff members are required to participate in annual continuing education and several have special interests or areas of expertise within the practice. We have two Registered Veterinary Technicians and three other members of our team have taken advanced training through veterinary staff associated courses offered at Metropolitan Community College.

Dr. Bradley Bays loves surgery on all pets, has advance training in exotic animal medicine and surgery, and is a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist. Dr. Freeman's passion is medicine and she has almost completed training as a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist. Our veterinarians work closely together, having rounds to discuss hospitalized cases.  Because they work well together there is a great balance of experience and education.  Working with more than one doctor, when necessary, does not pose a problem because each one cares deeply for all of our patients.

At Belton Animal Clinic we strive to offer not only sound advice, but also optimal veterinary care, and often work in conjunction with specialists to provide the best care possible for each patient. Our job is not only to treat your pet when he or she isn't feeling well, but also to offer preventative medicine and education to help you learn how to keep your best friend happy and healthy longer.
