The staff at Belton Animal Clinic and Exotic Care Center contributes a lot of time to many community activities including: Purchasing Animal Oxygen Masks for the Belton Fire Department in 2010 Providing Veterinary Care for rescued cats and dogs at HELP Humane Society Providing Care to stray animals brought in on emergency from the Belton Police Department and the Belton Fire Department Sponsoring local soccer and baseball teams Participation in the Belton Community Days Parade Providing an informational booth at Belton Community Days Participation in the Belton St. Patrick's Day Parade Participation in the Belton Fire Departments Fire Pup Program to help elementary school children learn fire safety Providing an informational booth at Belton's Fall Festival Sponsoring HELP Humane Society's annual fundraiser - The Black Tail Affair Fundraising for and collecting new and used clothing for foster kids through Midwest Foster Care and Adoption Dr. Freeman volunteered time to help the rescued pets from the Joplin tornado in 2011 Dr. Bradley Bays has worked on the Board for the Training for Tomorrow program, representing veterinary medicine in a 3 county wide grant project to provide training for the unemployed workforce Dr. Bradley Bays has helped to develop courses for Metropolitan Community College to train veterinary and animal related staff and taught the pilot course of Veterinary Front Office and Support Staff Fundraising and purchasing Bullet Proof Vests and other safety equipment for the Belton Police Dogs Dr. Bradley Bays has been a Youth Friends Mentor at Gladden Elementary and Mill Creek Upper Elementary Dr. Bradley Bays has been on the board at Home Away From Home
